I know, hehe at last I'm posting a technical issue.. honstly wa7ad embari7 ba3ately: "sho motet?" shwal esmint 3a raqbaty... leh ya man, leh? anyways ana kunt '3ates bo oset el installation taba3et sharepoint el jdeed.. I searched all the internet, blog blog, forum forum, allah wakeelkom ma 7adan nafa3ny ya jama3ah! fa 3al weekend 7ateet 3aqly brasy we 3refet '7alasi, o shamarat o yallah format...

hala2 after 5 or 6 times everything worked as I wanted it to.. el hamdellah! I'll share my experiance with you for one resoan, which is, ana ma barda hal bahdaleh la7adan... loool

I was installing MOSS 2007 on a domain controller.. fa hady el osah zadat el teneh baleh.. hehe anyways down below are the steps for a stand alone installation... etsharta7et la 6el3et m3y hal steps so a thank you email after your sucessful installation mush '3alat =)

1. Install Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or R2
2. Install IIS with ASP.NET enabled: bel msharba7i betna2i el "Application Server" o you click details and check the ASP.NET option
3. After that make sure that your ethernet card driver is installed (ya3ny m3arafeh), hala2 since we need to promote a domain on our machine meshan tser domain controller fa we need to set a static IP, if you don't know how 3eeb 3leek/3leeky hehe try 192.168.0.xx where x aya number
4. Now promote the domain, let's name it for example jordev-intra.local
5. Install Microsoft SQL Server 2005 RTM
6. Install the WinFX Windows Work Flow Foundation runtime componants Beta 2.2 (WinWF)
7. Install Microsoft Office 2007 Beta 2.0
8. Install Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Beta 3.0 (WSS), choose the basic installation.
9. Install Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), choose the stand-alone installation, hala2 when the setup fininshes, the configuration wizard will start, CHOOSE NOT TO OVERRIDE THE WSS SITE, the site will be created on a different port than the default WSS 80 and will have it's own application pool. lama be'7las el configuration the setup will open the website bs you will get an error 3ashan you installed MOSS 2007 on a domain controller.
10. Now install the DC-Workaround and run the batch file, if you used the default installation directory just hit enter.
11. hala2 run iireset.exe
12. Install Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 Beta 2.0

They told me that it sounds jnoon if they go for a walk, or eza nezlo 3a jabal el hussien, ya 7beeby hato hat 3lay et2olo jabal el 7ossen laly ‘7alafny! In the exact words one of the girls said: “nefsi yekoon m3 rashash o anzil o a6o’7 shabbab hal balad!” I replied: “ino malik ya binit enhabalti…” she replied: “ino jareb etkoon binit o tenzil 3a jabal el hussien menshan teshtry pants wila shirts, shoof sho beseer feek!” suddenly I felt their pain, at the beginning I thought eno 3ala 3adet el neswan el 7abeh qobeh, bs they told me stories shayabat rasy… 6b ya jama3ah el 7aky o yalla masheenah, bs oset el ba9ba9ah, 3eeeb ya e’7wan wala 3eeb, 6b et’7ayal wa7ad 3emil heek m3 o’7tak, ma ebtl3n emo 3a abo, hada eza 3alaqto min balash ne7ki…
